Commission B: ITF Project in Jakarta will Be Realized in 2023

Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission B Chairman, Ismail is optimistic that the Intermediate Treatment Facility (ITF) project in 2023 can be realized.

According to him, the executive plan to build ITF in Sunter and West region needs to be supported, as the project is important for the people of Jakarta in reducing waste.

"I'm very optimistic that this project can be realized," he said.

He asserted that it is time to change the concept of conventional waste processing into high value and generate electricity-based dividends. The ITF project can process around 2,200 tons of waste every day, which is capable of reducing the pile of waste in Jakarta.

"Hopefully, Jakarta can become a cleaner, more comfortable, and eco-friendly city," he stated.
